RESEARCH INTERESTS

Our laboratory is synthesizing and manipulating functional nanocrystals. We are also investigating the relevant physical and chemical phenomena on these size- and shape-controlled nanocrystals. The emphases are advanced processing technology and novel properties on nanocrystals.

Interested systems: diluted magnetic semiconductor nanocrystals; self-assembly of nanocrystals; nanostructured thermoelectric materials; 1D functional materials; core-shell structured nanoparticles; and inorganic-polymer magnetic/optical nanocomposites
