The Binghamton University chemistry department hosted an alumni reception August 19, 2007 at the American Chemical Society National Meeting in Boston. Approximately 25 former and current students from the department joined several current professors at the event which was the first of its kind for BU in over 20 years. The event was cosponsored by the Binghamton University Graduate School, the Binghamton Local Section of the ACS, and the Department. It was a great opportunity to reconnect and the department plans to make this a more regular activity at the ACS National meeting.
